The annual event, hosted by MSU’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) department, has now attracted the interest of some private players too. Moreover, previous year's winners are launching a newspaper, Youngistan Express, in the city, said event organisers.

As the main event began, participants, who are sophomores from MSU's BBA department, came out with the best laid plans from an initial capital of Rs 5,000 given to them on Monday. The business plans ranged from making websites to approaching sponsors and offering help to those hit }

during calamities. Interestingly, some students planned to earn profit from face reading.

Each finalist team of BBA Baazigar had seven members, out of which one was selected as the CEO of the team.

Sharing his business plan, Abhay Joshi, CEO of the team at Valabh Vidhyanagar, said that his team has segmented the business in three major categories. "We have divided our business, i.e. Prism Limited into three parts. They are Prism Food List, Prism Web Management and Prism Arts Management.

There was not much investment in Prism Web Management, as we already have buyers whom we don't want to disclose as of now. In Prism Arts Management, we will pay Rs 100 to an artist according to the rules in the game and then sell the artworks."

Major portion of the money, he said, was invested Prism Food List, where the funds will be used for a social cause. He added, "There is a woman who lost her house in Tsunami. We are going to help her build the house with the profits."

Other participants were found making profits by reading faces and selling chhole bhature outside MSU's Faculty of Family and Community Sciences.

Ram Punjani, a participant, said: "The name of our company is God Fathers, because the word, Godfather, is generally used as a misconception. Our stall has a face reading expert, Jagdish Dadani. We charge Rs 50 from the students and Rs 100 from others."
