Ahmedabad The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI), Gujarat State Organising Committee, has decided to contest from the Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency.

In a statement issued on Monday, SUCI said it will focus the campaign on the anti- people policies of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and the BJP government in Gujarat.

It said it will appeal to the electorate to turn this election as the instrument of people’s movement based on higher ethics and morality, and develop people’s political power. SUCI has said this is the only way to uphold democracy and fight against the anti-people policies in the name of globalisation, liberalisation, development, and meltdown, among others.

Suci will support pro-people, Left and democratic candidates with high moral and ethical standards.
