Pune The aspirants of All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) can breathe a sigh of relief as they are all set to get the exam centre within the state and not outside the state. Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Daggubati Purandeswari had recently said that the government will try to give student’s the centre of the choice. Reiterating the promise, Sule on Thursday told The Indian Express that she would follow up the matter with the ministry so that the candidates from Maharashtra get centres of their choice. “I hope the students from the state will be able to get centres in the state from this year only,” she said. The AIEEE is scheduled to take place in April. Sule said the HRD Ministry is serious about the issue and will also increase the number of centres in the state as the number of students appearing from the state has been increasing.
