Joining Warsi in the boys’under-12 main draw that commences on Monday were, Arbaaz Maniyar, Ved Bhandare, Agnay, Aditya Tolia, Tejas Gokuldas, Danish Siddiqui, Shikhar Raj.

Apart from Prachi Naidu, the others who made it to the girls’under-12 main draw were Ria Vardhan, Dhavani Kumar, Shweta Dhawkar, Nikita Folhar, Purnima Surve.

Aryan Goveas, Dheer Gala and Varun Pathare of Maharashtra are some of the leading juniors who will feature in the tournament, being held under the auspices of the All India Tennis Association and the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association in honour of one of India’s greatest players Premjit Lall, who died on December 31, 2008.

The categories include, boys’and girls’under-12 in the Talent Series and boys’and girls’under-10 in the Maharashtra State Ranking.

The other formidable juniors in the fray are Karan Mehta and Indra Patwardhan and among the girls are Shyodhi Yuden and Mahrukh Kokni of Mumbai.
