Definitely. Gateway is a reality show which will conduct an intensive nationwide search for India’s promising new director. The big deal is that the winner will get a chance to direct a Hollywood film produced by Ashok Amritraj’s company Hyde Park Entertainment.

How closely are you associated with it on a creative level?

There are four of us running the company. Gateway is produced by Sony Pix in association with my company. I handle the back-end, the business of the show. But all of us ideate and make creative contributions.

As a producer, what kind of shows are you looking at?

I’m always on the look out for novel ideas. Even in my movies—16 December, Rules- Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula—I have always tried to be unconventional. I aim at doing things that haven’t been done before.

Are more reality shows in the offing?

I hope so. As a production company you are always looking forward to more business. My firm has done a lot of successful shows in the past, for instance Margarita, Ghost Bana Dost and so on.

What is happening on the movie front?

I have done this film called Brahm, whose music was launched couple of days ago. Also, I have completed a movie called The Flags. It should release this year.
