Mumbai, February 4 Sporadic showers in the city on Sunday may have caused a drop in the maximum temperatures to 25.3 degree Celsius as recorded at 5.30 pm on Monday, but the minimum still hovers high at 16.2 degrees Celsius. While the temperature is rather high, the cool breeze is giving an apparent feeling of chill in the city, IMD officials said.

“In fact, the rain had raised the humidity to almost 100 per cent and that's why the temperature remains high. However, the northerly winds are setting in again. We have forecast 14 degrees for tomorrow, but there could be a further drop in the coming days,” K Sathi Devi, director of IMD, Mumbai, said.
