Teradata to open global consulting centre

Pune, March 5 Teradata Corporation, that is into data warehousing and enterprise analytics, announced the opening of its Global Consulting Centre on Wednesday in the city.

Addressing a press conference here, Robert Cromer Vice President for the Americas, Teradata professional services said the company selected the city for its talented pool of professionals, the presences of educational institutions and the facilities designed for the IT industry.

“The company is committed to leverage Indian professional service consultants to help solve some of their most pressing problems,’’ he said.

David Klump, global vice president of the company said the new centre in Pune would work jointly with Teradata’s existing consulting centers in Mumbai, which supports business intelligence consulting projects being implemented in Southeast Asia and the U.S. The company has research and development centers in Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Apart from that the company has its presence in China and Pakistan.
