The Indian Express reach second round

Chandigarh, January 6 In a nail bitting finish The Indian Express prevailed over Central Railway Institute, Dadar, by one wicket to enter the second round of the Times Shield `F’ Division Cricket Tournament (45-overs) at the Cross Maidan, here, on Saturday.

In another encounter, a six wickets haul by medium pacer Vidyadhar Bagul helped Unilever trounce Set India by eight wickets at the Azad Maidan.

Three centuries were recorded in the first round. Sandeep Kahane of Mumbai University (104), Abhimanyu Hedavkar of Krushi Udyog and Tata Power’s S Naik (100 n.o.) helped their sides to move to next round.
