Abhay Deol’s rides on with his own banner

Forbidden Films is the name of Abhay Deol’s just-launched banner. The actor wants to chart the forbidden territory with it, it seems. The first film to roll out is Junction, a high-voltage drama to be written and directed by Atul Sabharwal. Abhay is not sure whether he will be acting in the film as the project is still in its nascent stage. Fresh from the success of Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Abhay is currently excited about the Anurag Kashyap-directed Dev D, which releases this February. He plays a modern-day Devdas who is addicted to his Chandramukhi, played by newcomer Kalki, Kashyap’s real-life girlfriend.
