Abhay Deol rides in, with his own banner
Forbidden Films is the name of Abhay Deol’s just-launched banner. The actor, it seems, wants to chart the forbidden territory. The first film to roll out is Junction, a high-voltage drama to be written and directed by Atul Sabharwal. Deol is not sure whether he will be acting in the film as the project is still at a nascent stage. Fresh from the success of Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Deol is currently excited about the Anurag Kashyap-directed Dev D, which releases this February. He plays a modern-day Devdas who is addicted to his Paro, played by newcomer Kalki, Kashyap’s real-life girlfriend.
