The Annual day of Army Public School (APS) that took place on Friday at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) was a grand gathering. The chief guest for the function was Major general A K Chadha, major general admin, HQ southern command and Uma Chadha. After a welcome speech by principal Bineeta Punekar the students performed dance and short plays. A small play based on the 2009 version of Gabbar Singh won the hearts of many. Lola Kutti's act of making a breaking news out of a banana fallen on the streets stole the show. The juniors presented dramatic representation of the fairy tale — Cinderella. A serious issue of child labour was depicted by the students in the concluding performance, a dancedrama. Speaking on the occasion, Chadha said, "The performances as well as the academics of the students of APS are enough to understand that APS has a bright future."
