“We always make people party, so after a hectic New Year, I, along with my friends, decided that it was high time we took a break and party hard!” DJ Surya’s back from a 6,000 km road trip from Chandigarh to Goa. Into DJing for nine years now, Surya takes a trip to Shirdi every year and this year his friends decided to join him and they landed in Goa! “Initially, the plan was to fly to all these places, but we decided on a road trip as it was more fun and adventurous,” tells Surya. A non-stop drive to Mumbai, it took them 32 hours to cover the distance. “Every minute was worth it, as we partied our hearts out for four nights straight!” he grins. From Mumbai, the ‘roadies’ then vroomed to Pune and Shirdi. “The best part about the trip was the Pune-Goa highway, it was magnificent,” en route, these roadies had more company. Till the time they reached Goa, they were 14 in all, and as expected, Goa tured out to be a blast. “We used to hit the beaches at 9 in the morning and chill there till late night. Here, clubs normally close down by 11 pm, but in Goa, the party never ends,” his third road trip, this one’s sure a memorable one. Rock on!
