Thieves break into 3 flats in same building, flee with cash, jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh

New Delhi Three different flats of a building were broken into and cash and jewellery worth Rs 10 lakh was stolen on Friday in Paschim Vihar area of West Delhi. The incident took place in three flats of Jahaz Apartment in Mianwali Chowki area of Paschim Vihar.

The police found that flat number 225, 325 and 345 had been burgled.

One of the complainants, Rishi Raj Agnihotri, who owns flat number 325 reported that he had gone to bring back his wife and children from his in-laws’ house and when he returned he found 45 gm gold jewellery, 2.5 kg of silver jewellery and Rs 50,000 in cash missing.

In flat 225, owner Arvind Sharma said he was away at Ambala and he returned to find goods worth Rs 3 lakh missing.

The owner of flat number 345 lives abroad and visits the flat occasionally. Police has informed him about the burglary
