Although both of them delineate storytelling on the big screen, they are hugely demarcated in their renown, prevalence, advancement as well as recognition. The animated and the non-animated films in India have largely remained pronged. However their creators shared the platform for a concourse oration throwing light on more than just the differences between the two. The last day of DigitAll Movement at SIMC had filmmakers Madhur Bhandarkar, Geetanjali Rao and Arnab Chaudhari interact at the annual event.

Getting candid with students, Bhandarkar drew a lot of questions and spoke on various aspects, including a non-judgmental stand in films. The filmmaker, who is busy with his next film on jails, adds, "It takes six to eight months to research; I had some time back been to Yerawada jail and it was a awe-inspiring incident interacting with the prisoners. I saw a different world altogether. I love interacting with people, it heightens my knowledge. Each film of mine puts me through a learning process and I have constantly evolved through filmmaking. I have always made experimental cinema and audiences across the world have appreciated it. In fact, I am the only filmmaker who gets commercial success, critical acclaim and a national award," adds Bhandarkar, who assures that he'll shock audiences with a romantic flick shortly.
