Three from city at top in state tennis rankings

Pune City-based Rutuja Bhosale, Arjun Kadhe, Ronak Manuja, Prathana Thombare of Solapur, Harsh Mankad, Isha Lakhani, Aryan Goveas, Mihika Yadav, Nikhil Kannan Shahbaaz Khan, Rashmi Teltumbde of Mumbai finished as No. 1 players in their respective age groups in the annual state rankings announced here on Friday. The annual state ranking for the year ended 2008 was released the MSLTA secretary Sharad Kannamwar. The rankings are based taking into account the performances of players at the international, national and state level events, Kannamwar said.
