To boost exchange of students, PEC signs MoU with Australian university

Chandigarh A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Punjab Engineering College (PEC) and University of Australia (UWA) on Thursday for academic collaboration and student exchange.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Dr Doug McEachern from UWA and Director of PEC Dr Manoj Datta, signed the MoU on behalf of their institutions.

Now the institutions will be able to exchange academic material, staff, carry out joint research activities, conferences and academic meetings and boost students’ exchange.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Manoj Datta said that both the universities were looking forward to an active exchange of students and conducting joint research to impart quality education, promoting both teaching and research.

Dr Doug McEachern made the audience aware of the opportunities at UWA in terms of internships, scholarships, joint projects at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level for both students and faculty.
