Kolkata, January 3 Some excellent bowling from Koushik Bhattacharya saw Town Club score a 246-run victory over Burnpur United in their CAB first division league match on Thursday. Bhattacharya scalped 5 for 24 runs, while D Majumder picked up 3 wickets for just 3 runs. In reply to Town Club’s 325 for 8, Burnpur United were dismissed for 79.

In another match, Sparash Mishra bagged 5 for 56 for Paikpara Sporting Club, who bundled out Shibpur Institute for 193. Shibpur lost the match by 217 runs.

YMCA College Branch 239 vs Kumartuli Institute 243/3 (S Chakrabarty 115, S Chatterjee 75), Kumartuli Institute won by 7 wickets.
