Trinamool criticises Centre

Kolkata Expressing concern over continuing attacks on its activists by CPM cadre in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress accused the Centre on Sunday of being a mute spectator. “The Centre took action in the case of atrocities in states like Gujarat, but it is acting like a silent spectator when violence is occurring in West Bengal,” Union Minister of State for Urban Development Sougata Roy and Opposition Leader in state Assembly Partha Chatterjee said in unison.

Liberhan report unacceptable: Muthalik
Addressing a rally organised by Hindu Sanhati in Kolkata, Sree Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik on Sunday rejected the findings of the Liberhan Commission. “We do not accept its recommendations,” he said.
