Pune The Chinchwad police have booked two persons in connection with allegedly kidnapping a minor girl, after her mother lodged a complaint against them on Sunday.

According to the police, the girl’s mother had named one Adarsh Mishra, 25, and Mayur Shinde 21, in the complaint. Mishra is from Bihar and Shinde from Sangli.

The police said that the accused used to go to the eatery run by the complainant for the last ten months.

It was during this time that Mishra got friendly with her 17-year-old daughter. He promised her that he would marry her and on December 24 she eloped with him. The two have been booked under section 363, 366 (A), and 34 of the IPC. The police said that they are on the look out for Mishra, his friend Shinde and the girl. PSI V Jathak is investigating the case.
