On Thursday morning, an unidentified man was found dead in Dugri area. Passersby informed police. Model Town police started investigating the matter. One Sunny is learnt to have police that the deceased was called Rishi Pal and that he used to drive a horse cart for a living. Sunny told police that he was with Rishi Pal on Wednesday night when the latter was going to Dugri to unload some goods. Sunny told police that in Dugri, two people on a motorcycle started beating up Rishi Pal saying that they would teach him a lesson. Sunny said he fled from the spot.
Rishi Pal belonged to Ghaziabad district in UP and was living in Sham Nagar Colony near the bus stand in Ludhiana.
