Two die in bus-tractor collision at Surendranagar

Rajkot Two persons died and one was injured when the tractor they were travelling in was hit by a mini bus on the Limbdi-Sayla highway in Surendranagar on Wednesday. The tractor was loaded with cotton.

The Surendranagar rural police said the two died on the spot.

They were identified as Nana Vasram Koli (18) and Narrotam Koli (22). Both the deceased were residents of Undhal village.

Bhatat Koli, the person who was severally injured in the accident, has been admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad. The preliminary investigation has revealed that the accident took place when the tractor from Undhal village was on its way to the Limbdi marketing yard.

According to reports, it was hit from rear by the mini bus coming from Rajkot. The police said that the impact of collision was so intense that the tractor turned upside down, killing two passengers on the spot.
