Rajkot, March 4 Two juvenile inmates fled from an observation home in Bhavnagar in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to the police, one of the boys had earlier also run away from the Rajkot and Amreli observation homes.

The Bhavnagar police said the boys who were found missing were Bharat Sindhi (17), a resident of Rasala society in Bhavnagar, and Vijay Makwana (17), a resident of Damnagar town in Amreli. Both were accused in several cases of house burglary and loot. Preliminary reports revealed the two might have used some instrument to break the main door. Other inmates said that when they woke up, the two had already escaped.

The police said Makwana has history of running away from observation homes. In one year, he has fled twice. He was arrested from a video parlour and brought to the observation home located in Subhash Nagar only two days ago.
