Two run over by Blueline buses in separate accidents

New Delhi In two separate Blueline accidents, a 14-year-old student and a 50-year-old man were crushed to death while three others sustained injuries.

In the first, an overspeeding Blueline bus crushed a 50-year-old man in Shakarpur area in East Delhi on Thursday night. Police said that the deceased has been identified as Nand Raj, a resident of Laxmi Nagar. “A speeding Blueline bus, plying on route number 740 (Uttam Nagar to Anand Vihar) hit him from behind. He died on the spot while the errant bus driver fled leaving the vehicle.

In the second incident, a 14-year-old student was crushed to death by a speeding Blueline bus while his three friends sustained injuries in New Ashok Nagar area of East Delhi on Thursday night. The accident was reported around 11 pm near Mayur Vihar Phase-III. The victim, Sumit Veram was class VII student of a government school.
