Two-day spring fest from March 8

Panchkula, March 7 With the two-day spring festival starting in Panchkula from March 8, the results of various horticulture competitions held across schools in the city were declared by the HUDA. Like every year, the festival would be held at Town Park in Sector 5, opposite Sector 9, Panchkula.

The attractions during the two-day fest will include camel riding and 100 different stalls to choose from.

“There were a number of competitions that were held in schools. We had two different prize categories, one for potted plants and another for the gardens in the school campuses,” said Jogi Ram, XEN from Horticulture, HUDA.

While the garden of Hans Raj Public School, Sector 6 was adjudged the best in the secondary school category, Bhawan Vidhyalaya, Sector 15 got the second prize.

In the middle school category, Gurukul School, Sector 20 was adjudged the best. Satluj Public School in Sector 2 got the first prize in the Primary school category, while the second prize was bagged by Hall Mark School, Panchkula.
