Unique Fin Corp case: Lawyer held

Pune, January 4 The Chatuhshrungi police today arrested a lawyer, Hanumant Namdeo Nale (34), of Phaltan in Satara district in connection with the Unique Fin Corp case. Nale was produced before the court on Friday and was remanded to police custody till January 10.

The police said that Nale played an active role in stealing Rs 2.5 crores from the company’s office premises on Prabhat Road. Nale is the tenth arrest in this case.

Earlier the police had arrested Chandrakanth Gulabrao Helkar (59), a resident of Sinhagad Road for allegedly breaking into the company’s office and stealing Rs 2.5 crores.
