UP govt transfers 13 IAS officers

Lucknow In a major reshuffle, the state government transferred 13 IAS officers on Wednesday.

Neeta Chowdhary, principal secretary of the Medical, Health and Family Welfare department has been sent to the Industrial Development department. V N Garg, chairman of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation and also the principal secretary of Infrastructure Development will now hold the charge of the department.

Principal secretary of Bhasha, B B Singh Vishwen, has been removed from his post. Principal secretary of the Primary Education department, Pradeep Shukla, will now become the principal secretary of the Medical, Health and Family Welfare department.

Secretary of Medical, Health and Family Welfare, Rajeev Kapoor has been posted as the secretary of Finance.

Consolidation Commissioner Chanchal Kumar Chowdhary will now be the secretary of Medical and Health. Lalit Verma, secretary of the National Integration department has been asked to join as the secretary of the Medical and Health department. He will also hold the charge of commissioner of the Food and Drug department.

While secretary of Medical and Health department, Anup Chandra Pandey, has been posted as the secretary of Primary Education, N S Ravi, who till now was a member of the Judiciary Board of Revenue, has been asked to join as Consolidation commissioner.

Managing Director of the state power corporation, Alok Tandon, who was also holding the post of secretary Energy, will now be only secretary of the Energy department.

Managing Director of UPPCL, Avaneesh Kumar Awasthi, will now be the secretary of Bhasha.

Secretary to the chief minister, Navneet Kumar Sehgal has been given the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of UPPCL and secretary of Energy.

Narendra Bhushan, secretary of the Finance department has been made Additional Managing Director of UPPCL.
