Chandigarh INLD secretary general Ajay Chautala today said the term of the UPA would go down in history as the “darkest chapter of governance ever”.

Addressing public meetings at various villages of Kaithal as part of NDA’s ‘Jan Aakrosh Padyatra’ from Rai Malikpur to Chandigarh, Chautala blamed the UPA for inflation, terrorism and unemployment.

He added that the people of the country would vote to elect NDA leader Lal Krishan Advani as the next prime minister.

Targeting the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led state government, Ajay Chautala said that he has raised 20 questions in the last 20 days of foot march, but the state government has failed to respond to any of them. He challenged the government to prove even one of his twenty charges to be false.

He also demanded purchase of 7,000 new buses to meet the increased demand for public transport.
