Dr Manju Chawla, principal of the college, welcomed Senapathy and other member of his team and introduced them to the faculty members of the college. The main objective of the lecture was sharing and extending of knowledge and the topic of the extension lecture was “Coping with Stress”.
Senapathy stressed that unless we update our knowledge we will be outdated. When the pressure is greater than the resources, it automatically leads to stress. Women have much more in built power to cope with stress as compared to the men folk.
There are three basic qualities in every individual: animal, human and divine. Animal qualities won’t allow a person to be at peace as the individual is always obsessed with how to harm the others. Human and divine qualities give lot of happiness to man as it involves sharing, giving and doing everything for others.
“We are racing against the time. Jobs are very strenuous and it is only the good home life which makes a man stress free. Time pressure, financial concern and poor inter-personal relationships give rise to stress. The more you run away from it the more it will chase you,” he said.
