Agra, February 6
Jalesar villagers rescued a 12-year-old boy who was being abducted by six men in a car on Thursday morning near Nagla Chandan. On hearing screams for help from the car, that was sporting a police logo, the villagers chased the vehicle and managed to nab three of the abductors. After a good thrashing, the culprits were handed over to the police. The miscreants had threatened Harsh (nickname Goldi), a student of St Andrew's school, that he'd be shot dead if he shouted for help, but Goldi kept on yelling. One of the abductors, after being caught, feigned to be a victim to escape whipping from the villagers, but during interrogation he confessed to his crime.
