The total prize money on offer this year is Rs 10 lakh and vying for the riches will be 12 top teams from all over the country, among them fancied names like Tatas, BPCL, Indian Oil, Air India, Indian Airlines, ONGC, DYPSA, SBT, and Canara Bank. All the matches will be layed at the D Y Patil University ground and the Dr. D Y Patil International Stadium, with the finals to be played under lights at the stadium.
Eleven teams have been seeded into the main draw with one slot left for the qualifier who will emerge from among D Y Poatil Group, Mumbai Customs, Akbar Travels and Western Railway. The opening matches of the main draw on March 8 will feature Air India (Mumbai) versus SBT and Air India (Delhi) against Mumbai Police.
