Satyavan is in Ludhiana at present as his eyes were operated upon a few days ago and is now waiting for his sight to be restored. He is now happy and is waiting for his sight to be restored and will soon be able to see the world.

“Nothing can or should stop a person from following his dreams. This is what I wanted to show others by walking on rough roads and in adverse weather conditions all by myself,” he says with a smile.

Though it was difficult to walk such long distance, he never felt afraid. “Walking for long distances for a person with no eyes can be treacherous. But if one believes in God, everything can be conquered. I visited so many places in the last five years and though it was tiring at times, every time I succeeded, it gave me a high and I felt happy,” he beams.

Armed with knowledge in various scriptures, Satyavan says: “Youth is the best time to decide what one wants in life. I always knew that I could not sit idle because of my blindness. Therefore, one day I decided to go on a journey. The longer I travelled, the more determined I became to succeed. It was then I discovered that we all have the special gift, but need to explore ourselves so that we know our strengths and weaknesses.”
