MH 03 AA 7449 , the meter of this Auto is too fast and on discussing the same the driver is arguing back and threatening us stating that he is from the union and make sure he will take us for a ride next time seen. this rickshaw is seen in Kanjur marg station rickshaw stand next ti Huma Ad labs.

I hired a rickshaw from Puna hospital with my grand father who was ill, i traveled to Bibwewadi. The meter shown 7.00 reading, which was already more than i usually get for the same route and distance. Then that rickshaw driver rudely and using bad language asked me for 105rs fare which was supposed to be 68rs only. This disappointed me, I asked him to show the meter fare on his card, but he didn't show. He said he is needs to be payed more as he will need to get back long way on the main road. He started insisting loudly and using bad language for 100rs fare. I was not in a situation for verbal fight because my grandpa was already standing besides me (waiting for me as he is not able to walk properly because of his oldness and illness) and also my neighbours will get disturb, so I just took a snap of his vehicle number (MH 12 FA 2470) and I hope no one will get cheated like this... I wish this and such Auto rickshaw drivers should be punished, Auto no: MH 12 FA 2470

We usually go to Dlf building from Kondapur to DLF(Gachibowli) during office day.Found that auto driver charging high price worth Rs 15 at short distance per head sharing. I have tried to complaint Police abt this for last 3 months. Still not happening. Need strict action against high price.

Can somebody do something bout these auto People. More than Half of the auto's running in mumbai have manupulated meter's . And they alwayz tend to argue or fight when we say this to them. Can't we issue the order of putting electronic system or huge fines to this auto drivers on compaining to the nearest police stations as earliest as possible.

I took a auto from Ghatkoper station to Marol(near airport).It usually cost 5o Rs. to 60 Rs. but today morning(7th June 2011) he charged 75 Rs.(as meter reading was more). He said you can complaint to any one. His batch number is 141269.

The aouto meter is very fast and a driver confessed about it MH 02 UA 9467.When asked to take the rickshaw to the RTO office he refused and said that the rickshaw meter is only 5paise fast.Please look into this as its creating a mess.The auto was from Malwani,Malad. I would like to address the complaint for Auto Rickshaw number MH 04 BC 4631 and his Billa No.50997, name he didn't tell me. The driver is cheating with the meter and charging fare Rs. 15/= per seat from Kapurbawari Chowk, Thane to Luiswadi, Naka Thane. His behaviour also was not good with us four pessengers. Please do the needful, better cancel his Liecence for one month and instruct him to charge fare as per meter only.

I traveled with sister , sister in law and son in auto on 09.01.11 at 2.40 pm via Alugaddabai to kalyan jeweller, besides Hyderabad central panjagutta. I put my cover(kalamandir cover contains 3 saress and 10 blouse pieces new) back side of the seat and I forgotten when get down to auto. The auto drivers opposite to DELL, Microsoft, at anypoint are not willing to go to the desired location or want double or more. Even when complained to the traffic police here, he does not care. can anyone address this, please

I have given my book-licence to a driving school at panvel for convertibg it to smart card for Rs 500 as said by the driving school owner.Now he is demanding for 300 Rs more for the same .Smart card is already made and is with him.Kindly give me a solution for this problem(Cash receipt is with me)

none of the auto rickshaw drivers at kanjurmarg station(near Huma Adlab cinema) in mumbai are ready to take customers to IIT Bombay.customer who are in a hurry to reach IIT in the morning , has to wait for atleast 30 min to 1 hr,then also they have to share with others , who go for a long distance. It realy hurts , that they are refusing to come to one of the biggest Intitute of India called IIT Bombay. In sharing people have to get down at main gate at IIT & walk for 15 to 20 mins to reach their departments. If this will continue , people will start buying thier own vehicle , which will lead to more traffic jam. Dear Sir/Mam, This is regarding the refusal of hiring the Auto Rickshaw form Mumbai airport to Bhandup Vehicle No - MH-02-TA-1610 time 11:50 PM,the vehicle was in line but when i was about to sit he just drove away and took a 'U'turn and was again in line,infact i had asked the private security ( vehicle number noting person)to help but he was clueless neither any police men were around to complaint. I would like to get to your notice that the Auto,bearing the number KA-05 9259(Dl no:-611/99) has tampered with his meter and also charged double the fare. He threatened us if we didn't pay the amount.

The driver of auto rickshaw (No. MH 06 Z 1876)at Khandeshwar railway station tried to beat me as I refused to pay the ampount as it was 5 times the rated one. I somehow escaped. Please take some action against him.

Today we tried hiring auto from hadapsar to Runwal Housing and Auto driver asked us more 70 Rs. while it cost only 20 Rs. We asked him to go by meter. His meter was jumping like anything and it reached 40 Rs. When told him that it doesn't cost this much then he started using foul language and abusive words. Also he called up his friends around and made us pay 50 Rs. The auto number that we were travelling is MH-14 R 3673. I really request you to take action against these type of drivers. We are really fed up of this.

When I returned from Dhisar check naka to Vikhroli in the evening by rick, the meter showed 19 Rs & the driver showed us a card which amounted upto 320 Rs. I did not have a proper card to check it out but I took his number & name & told him that I would submit a complain. I am still not sure what the fare is for 19 Rs. & surfing the net to get the proper tariff. The drivers name is Shiva (that is what he said) & the rick number is MH-03-AA-9766, this happened on the 16th of Sept. 2010, that was a Thursday. I want to even send a complain to the RTO with the hope that this guy is taught a lesson & does not cheat others. Why can't the RTO have regular checks on the meters to see if they are tampered with as all the rickshaws inverabally have their meters rigged & then to top it all they want the prices raised all the time.

i donot think govt. or police ever take any action to these taxi drivers or taxis, i traveled from howrah to sinthi where the usual meter reads 50-60, but that day the meter read 80,the no. of the taxi was WB04 A 4812.

Auto Rickshawala refuse to collect fair as per metere at panvel station & nearby. These happens every day. We request RTO official of that region should look into the matter.

This is everyday's problem in my area (Hanuman Nagar, Bhandup), every autowala refuse for kanjurmarg station. my complain is against batch no. 152901 Riksha no. MH03AA1688.

Hi I work at malad mindspace interface 16, in the night there about 8 to 10 rickshaws but none of them are willing to go to malad station, BTW I stay at Bandra if I ask for Bandra all them are ready to go, this is not that this problem is for recent months, I been working here for 6 years and the situation is getting worst day by day. Is there a way that I can complain to the RTO and they can take their case.
