Ward level budget meets till Jan 12

Pune In order to hold a healthy discussion on the upcoming (2009-10) budget of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and to seek suggestions and views of the citizens in each ward, all 14 wards of the civic body have arranged meetings between January 5 and 12. The first meeting regarding this took place at Sangamwadi ward office on Monday.

The standing committee chairman of the PMC Shyam Deshpande has urged citizens as well as the corporators, mohalla committees, members of voluntary organizations, experts in the field of civic issues, activists, school children, to attend the meetings and give their valuable inputs. Members of traffic police, zonal commissioner and other civic officials are going to be present for these meetings.

Meeting schedule :Tuesday (6 Jan) 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm Yerawada, Wednesday 10 am to 12.30 pm Kasba Peth (7 Jan) 1 pm to 2.30 pm Bhawani Peth 3 pm to 4.30 pm Tilak Road Thursday 10 am to 12.30 pm Sahakarnagar (8 Jan) 12 pm to 2 pm Bibwewad 2.30 pm to 4 pm Dhankawadi Friday 10 am to 12.30 pm Hadapsar (9 Jan) 12.30 pm to 3 pm Dhole-Patil 3 pm to 4.30 pm Aundh Monday 10 am to 12.30 pm Ghole Road (12 Jan) 1 pm to 3.30 pm Karve Road 4 pm to 5.30 pm Warje Road.
