If there’s anything that works in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s latest toffee, Jodhaa Akbar, it’s the beauty of Aishwarya Rai and the suavity of Hrithik Roshan. A bigger credit tag is then deserved for the film industry’s top-lining costume specialist, the heroine-chic Neeta Lulla who has made beauties of many south Indian belles. The same regalia of the Mughal and Rajput epoch was recreated for fashion boutique Samsaara, in Colaba, where Lulla has put for sale some delightful tunics, saris and lehengas. Besides the film’s producers, Ashutosh and Sunita Gowarikar, actors Ila Arun, Poonam Sinha and Sonu Sood showed up as did designer Deepika Gehani and socialite Elina Meswani.

Bummer The film may or may not be a hit, Lulla’s line is a surefire sell-out.
