Ahmedabad Saraswati Patel (20) was allegedly abducted by some unidentified persons on Sunday. Her husband Kirit Pandya, a resident of Lunavada near Godhra, is suspected to be behind the abduction. Saraswati and Kirit had a love marriage, which was solemnised on January 6. The couple reportedly separated a week later. The police said that a couple of days after their separation, Saraswati's parents sent her away to stay with her cousin Rekha Patel at Ganganagar. On Sunday, when the sisters went shopping, some persons abducted the girl. Rekha later lodged a complaint with Ramol police.
