Mumbai A woman who disappeared from the Jogeshwari Market on Sunday was found dead at Amoda village in Bharuch. On Wednesday the local police got information about the death of Bilkis Yakub Patel (30) from the Bharuch police.

On Sunday she had gone to the market with her sister Rashida. The two were separated because of the rush in the area.” Rashida tried to call Bilkis but her phone was switched off. The family then approached the Oshiwara police and registered a missing persons’ complaint with us,” said Police Inspector Dattatray Sankhe, Oshiwara police station.

“We do not know the cause of death. The police there have registered a case of accidental death. The case will be investigated by Bharuch police,” Sankhe said.
