Woman needs help for surgery

Ludhiana, January 11 Meena, a resident of Preet Nagar, is suffering from a dangerous brain tumour and needs financial help for surgery. Meena, who was suffering from paralysis and severe headache, was admitted to CMC Hospital a few days ago. Her MRI revealed that the tumour. Her ailing condition came to light after the delivery of her second baby boy, a year ago.

Meena requires an intensive life saving operation and removal of tumours, followed by medication, which is very expensive. Her husband works as an attendant in a PCO. With his meager salary, he finds hard even in normal circumstances to support his family. He is the sole bread winner of the family. This unforeseen problem has landed his family in big trouble.

According to the doctors at CMCH, at least one more month of hospitalization may be required, which along with medication and treatment calls for further expenditure to the tune of Rs one lakh rupees. Meena and her family need financial help, and all donations and financial aid will be appreciated.

All the persons who want to help Meena and her desperate family can contact the Medical Superintendent’s Office, CMCH. All donations should be made in favour of Christian Medical College and Hospital, with ‘Treatment for Meena’ written on back of the cheque, demand draft or on the covering letter.
