A woman and her paramour, charged with killing her husband, were sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment by a Delhi court on Saturday. The testimony of her 12-year-old son whose eyewitness account established that his mother and uncle killed his father who had come to know of their illicit relationship tilted the court’s verdict against the accused.
Additional Sessions Judge Chandrashekhar also imposed a fine of Rs 35,000 each on Shama Parveen and Tohid.
