Workshop on thesis writing concludes at DMCH

Ludhiana The two-day National Workshop on Electronic Statistics and Thesis Writing, NATWEST-2009, organised by the medical education unit of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital came to an end on Saturday.

The aim of the workshop was to guide the students and faculty members to prepare the manuscripts of their thesis/projects themselves without taking external help. Sixty delegates from all over the country attended the workshop.

Several professors and experts in the field addressed the delegates during the workshop. Dr Geeta Sharma, Principal of SGRDIMSAR, Amritsar, elaborated on the methods used for writing an introduction and gave tips on reviewing literature. Dr Gautam Ahluwalia, professor of medicine, DMCH, elaborated on the legal issues associated with thesis projects.
