WPCA in seventh heaven

Pune, February 5 Hosts Western Poona Cricket Academy (WPCA) logged their seventh successive win en route winning the Kasturi Rangachar Under-19 limited overs cricket title at the NCL ground, on Tuesday.

In the final, WPCA for the second time in the tournament trounced Poona Club. Having beaten Poona Club in the league stage, WPCA's Rohit Karanjkar proved to be the star again. First, he scored 59 — includes a 73-run partnership with Kumar Thakkar — before returning to claim 2/20.

Rohit was adjudged the all-rounder of the tournament.
