Youth Cong panel: sons, daughters & relatives Inc

Mumbai The reconstituted Executive Committee of the Maharashtra Youth Congress saw the children and relatives of prominent politicians like former chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and revenue minister Patangrao Kadam being accommodated.

The 52-member committee, which was announced today, has former minister Rajni Satav’s son Rajiv as president and Vilasrao Deshmukh’s son Amit, former Nashik MP Murlidhar Mane’s daughter Shraddha and Patangrao Kadam’s son Vishwajeet as vice-presidents.

Former minister and suspended Congressman Ranjit Deshmukh’s son Ashish, Union Renewable Energy Minister and Nagpur MP Vilas Muttemwar’s son Vishwas, Ichalkaranji MLA and former minister Prakash Awade’s son Rahul and Agriculture Minister Balasaheb Thorat’s nephew Satyajit Tambe also figure on the Committee, which has seven vice-presidents, 20 general secretaries and 24 secretaries.

The son of former MLC Ramesh Nikose, too, is in the list.
