Youth killed as coffee machine bursts

New Delhi An 18-year-old boy was killed and three others received minor injuries after a coffee making machine burst in the Hauz Qazi area of Central Delhi on Friday around 11.30 pm.

The deceased, identified as Yogesh Singh, used to work as a salesman in a shop in Janpath. His father runs Jai Mata Tent House in Himmatgarh and Yogesh was helping out on Friday night. “There was a coffee stall with an electric coffee making machine which exploded. Shards hit Yogesh on his head, hands and chest.”

Yogesh was declared dead on arrival at Lok Nayak Hospital.
