Youth on motorcycle hit by DTC bus, serious

New Delhi, March 6 Two youths were seriously injured on Thursday afternoon when their motorcycle was hit by a Delhi Transport Corporation bus at Roshnara Road in central Delhi.

Vijay (24) and Virender (25) were heading towards their Aryapura (Subzi Mandi) residence when they were hit by the bus, plying on route number 115 (between Wazirpur and the Old Delhi Railway Station).

Vijay was admitted at St Stephen’s Hospital, while Virender was admitted at the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital. Both are said to be out of danger.

The bus driver, Megh Singh, has been booked for rash and negligent driving and was arrested.

The bus has also been impounded.
