New Delhi, March 1:: Finance Minister P Chidambaram said on Wednesday he would like interest rates to be moderate and benign, and that a marginal hardening of rates would not impact government finances.
"Accomodative interest rates helps consumption and investment," Chidambaram told the Times Now television channel.
