TISCO in talks with Larsen & Toubro for port JV

Mumbai, July 26: Tata Iron and Steel Company Ltd. (TISCO) is in talks with Larsen & Toubro to set up an equal joint venture company for the development of Dhamra Port in Orissa, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) said on Monday.

It said TISCO was clarifying a newspaper report about the joint venture.

It said the Dhamra port was likely to become operational by 2007.
