Position title : Manager – Technical Operations

Reports to	Business Head – Online Operations
Basic function	Technical operations Management for online operations. Website and new functionality planning and development, Code optimization, Database optimization
Duties and responsibilities	Identify and implement the IT strategy and platforms for online IT operations Projects’ (new websites, micro sites) planning and execution based on the business requirements Linux server administration and resource optimization Maintenance of existing websites Maintain and Optimize existing websites developed under open source Develop testing plans and execution strategy Technical team management, Managing daily operations (work allocation, resource scheduling, team motivation, etc) Performance review and recommendations
K nowledge, skills and abilities	Web Technologies: PHP, JSP, ColdFusion. Javascript, DHTML, HTML Languages: C, C++, Java DBMS: MySql, Postgres, Oracle Operating System: Linux, Solaris, Windows, DOS
Competency required for the position	Project planning and execution against deadlines. Good understanding of technology in the Internet domain. Attention to details Providing direction and clarity to team members
Minimum recruitment standards	Min 5 years of experience in web development MCA or B.E. in computer science
