Sangram Gana Parishad announces list
Guwahati,
April 22: The Asom Sangram Gana Parishad (agsp) today announced
a list of 28 candidates and released the party manifesto in which
the party leaders pledged to bring “complete peace” in
Assam.
“The agsp
will announce a ceasefire with the militantsand suspend the operations
of the Unified Command,” party president Jatindra Borgohain
told mediapersons here.
The agsp will also make efforts to end violence and ensure that
permanent peace was restored in the state.
Borgohain said
the party if voted to power will scrap the Illegal Migrants’
Determination by Tribunal Act (imdt) and take strict measures to
stop illegal migration in the state.
