nominations filed on last day
Pondicherry:
A record number
of 225 nominations were filed on the last day for filing nominations
on Tuesday. With this, the total number of candidates has gone up
to 298. Besides party candidates, 94 independents have also filed
nominations.
Ministers, Speaker,
MLAs, ex-ministers, ex-speakers including leaders of various political
parties have all filed their nominations on the concluding day.
