Stringent curbs to control urea supply

Escorts fund records 16% return

[Details] Escorts Mutual Fund has recorded a return of 16% on its income bond scheme for the period ended March 31, 1997. A final dividend of 6.50% will be paid to unit holders under the dividend option of the scheme. The record date has been fixed at June 2.

Indian Rayon net jumps 16% to Rs 215 crore

[Details] Indian Rayon & Industries, an A V Birla group company, has posted a net profit of Rs 214.77 crore in 1996-97, an increase of 16% over last year's Rs 184.75 crore. However, the profits fell short against the targeted figure of Rs 200 crore.
