Hardcore, Microsoft forge alliance

CHENNAI, May 7: Hardcore, the internetworking education divsion of Aptech Ltd, has tied-up with Microsoft Corporation for education on Windows NT. Hardcore has now become Microsoft's first authorised academic training partner (AATP), specialising in networking.

This academic partnership will seek to create a large pool of internetworking professionals for management of NT based computernetworks. In a press release managing director of Aptech Ltd Ganesh Natarajan, expected a quicker penetration of Windows NT in the Indian corporate segment.

According to Microsoft Corporation regional director Indian Sub-Continent Sanjay Parthasarathy, increased competition has resulted in more companies setting up local and wide area networks.

This has resulted in the networking market growing by over 70 per cent.
